PZSchedule

Convert a Television schedule from XMLTV into an HTML document.  The user can then click on a TV show to automatically schedule the recording in Windows.  Just like TitanTV.com except all source is available!

Download: Server components    Client Setup EXE   Client VB 6 Source
Versions:        Ver. 1.0                Ver. 1.0.0.500
Last Update:   1/26/04                2/08/04

Client features: Can run stand-alone in Windows to manually schedule shows one time or repeating; adjustable recording quality(profile); completely configurable command line including program to schedule and parms to pass; command line defaults to Hauppauge WinTV PVR format; automatically convert one channel number to another; wake up the computer for recording and shut down/suspend when done; complete Visual Basic 6 source available.

Server features: Retrieve an XMLTV feed and convert into an HTML webpage.  When a TV show is clicked on, the client automatically starts and schedules the show.  Complete Perl source available.

Requirements:  User can run the client scheduler stand-alone in Windows and manually enter the show info, or optionally use the server components and just click twice to update the schedule.  The optional server components require a Unix-flavor server to retrieve XMLTV and convert it to an HTML TV schedule.

Credits/Links:  The converter from XMLTV to HTML was derived from Toby Inkster's tv2html.pl, and the Windows task scheduler DLL was created by Eduardo Morcillo.
